First Aid/ CPR Training



Students must be able to understand written and spoken English.
After successful completion of this course, each student will be issued a laminated ID with a 2-year expiration.
There are course fees with this training.


This is a half-day course for Basic First Aid/CPR, which satisfies Federal OSHA 20CFR1910.151(B) and WAC 296-800-15005 and OAR 437-002-0161 (3-B). Safety Classes offered
On-site or at our facility
in Kirkland.

Evenings and Saturday classes available.
Topics include:
  • Focus on Assessment: SETUP, Using Barriers, Assess Responsiveness
  • Focus on Airway: Breathing, Circulation, Clearing the tongue, Solid materials, Fluids, Protecting the airway, Recovery position, Clearing a foreign body, Airway obstruction, Rescue breathing.
  • Chest compressions
  • Sudden death, Control of bleeding, Managing shock
  • Focus on Reassessment
  • Focus on Illness or Injury: breathing difficulty, severe pain, altered level of responsiveness, head injury, swollen limbs, emergency moves, etc.
  • Common Work Site Injuries: bee stings, eye injuries, heat stroke, hand injuries, choking, poisoning, burns, amputations, heart attack, etc. 

Conclusion: emotional impact, emergency plans, first aid and the law. This program is interactive with role playing, video and hands-on demonstration on actual mannequin.
